저희는 코퀴틀람에 위치한 교육 전문 기관으로, K–12 정규 교과 수업을 비롯하여 AP 및 CEMC 수학 경시대회, 과학 경시대회, IELTS, 캐나다 및 미국 대학 입시 컨설팅, 대학 진학 및 커리어 프로그램 등 다양한 교육 서비스를 운영하고 있습니다.

또한 학생들이 교실 안에서의 학업에만 머무르지 않고 자신의 진로를 구체적으로 탐색할 수 있도록 UBC 관련 교육 및 커리어 프로그램 연계, 대학 진학 준비, 비교과 및 진로 활동 등 다양한 프로그램을 함께 제공하고 있습니다.

영어로 수업 전체를 진행할 수 있는 능력은 필수입니다.

학생들에게 개념을 설명하고, 질문을 받고, 문제 풀이를 진행하며 수업 전체를 영어로 자연스럽고 자신 있게 이끌어갈 수 있어야 합니다.

한국어로만 수업이 가능한 분은 이번 Full-Time 포지션의 채용 대상과 맞지 않습니다.

한국어 구사 능력은 장점이 될 수 있으나 필수 조건은 아닙니다.

캐나다 내에서 합법적으로 근무할 수 있는 분
Work Permit, Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen 등

영어로 전체 수업을 진행할 수 있는 분

관련 수학 또는 과학 과목에 대한 높은 이해도를 가지고 있는 분

학생 지도에 책임감과 열정을 가지고 있는 분

We are looking for a skilled, energetic, and passionate full-time instructor who is confident teaching multiple Math and Science subjects.

Hello, we are JM Education.

JM Education is an education centre located in Coquitlam, BC. We provide a wide range of academic and educational services, including K–12 academic courses, AP preparation, CEMC Mathematics Contests, Science competitions, IELTS programs, Canadian and U.S. university admissions consulting, and university and career preparation programs.

We also support students beyond the classroom by connecting them with UBC-related educational and career programs, university preparation opportunities, extracurricular activities, and career exploration experiences that help them develop clearer academic and professional goals.

For this position, we are looking for someone who can teach a broad range of Math and/or Science courses, rather than an instructor who is limited to only one subject.

Most importantly, we are looking for a teacher who brings positive energy and enthusiasm into the classroom, communicates well with students, and can confidently lead and engage a class.

Preference will be given to candidates who can confidently teach Pre-Calculus 10–12 and extend into AP Calculus AB and/or BC.

Preference will be given to candidates who can teach multiple Science subjects and/or AP-level Science courses.

In general, we are looking for instructors who are comfortable teaching a broad range of subjects rather than only one or two courses.

???? English Teaching Requirement

The ability to teach an entire class in English is required.

Candidates must be able to confidently explain concepts, answer student questions, work through problems, and lead the entire class naturally and effectively in English.

Candidates who are only able to teach in Korean will not be considered for this full-time position.

Korean language ability is an asset, but it is not required.

• Be able to fully conduct classes in English
• Have a strong understanding of the Math and/or Science subjects they teach
• Demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and enthusiasm for working with students

???? Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience
• Familiarity with Canadian middle and high school curricula
• Strong understanding of the BC Curriculum
• Experience with BC Online School or online curriculum programs
• Experience teaching AP Calculus AB and/or BC
• Experience teaching AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and/or AP Biology
• Experience preparing students for CEMC or other Mathematics competitions
• Experience preparing students for Science competitions
• Ability to teach multiple subjects across Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
• Ability to teach both Math and Science is a strong asset

⏰ Work Schedule

Full-Time

Monday to Friday

3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

30-minute unpaid break per day

6.5 paid hours per day / 32.5 paid hours per week

If you prefer weekend work or are also available on weekends, alternative scheduling arrangements may be discussed.

$4,000 per month + 4% vacation pay

Compensation and employment terms may be further discussed depending on teaching experience and the range of subjects the candidate is able to teach.
