Privacy Policy

InsaengON processes information needed for its features and does not initiate family sharing without the user’s choice.

1. Operator and scope

eKBS operates InsaengON. This policy applies to the InsaengON iPhone and Android apps, the associated service API, and this official website.

2. Information processed

  • Account: name, email address, password hash, session information, and account status.
  • Family features: connection records, check-ins, help requests, agreed plans and tasks, and shared course identifiers.
  • User-selected data: one selected screenshot and location shared with a chosen connected family member.
  • Notifications: device push token, platform, environment, and unread badge count.
  • Support and safety: support requests, reports, blocks, and operator actions.
  • Technical information needed for security, rate limiting, and error handling, such as request time and network address.

3. Purpose

We use this information to provide sign-in, family connection, support, notifications, safety moderation, service security, troubleshooting, and user-requested account deletion. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

4. Voice, AI, and external video services

Voice recognition is used only after the user chooses the microphone feature. Recognized text is sent through the InsaengON service to generate an AI response. eKBS does not store the original voice recording or AI conversation history. YouTube and Bunny.net video playback may be subject to those providers’ privacy practices.

5. Location, screenshots, and permissions

Notification, photo selection, location, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions are requested only when the related feature is used. Location and screenshots are shared only after the user selects a connected family member and confirms the action. Device permissions can be changed at any time in system settings.

6. Retention

  • Family help and course-share history: up to 30 days.
  • Shared screenshots: up to 24 hours, or earlier when either party deletes them.
  • Location: until sharing ends or up to 24 hours.
  • Shared plans and tasks: up to 90 days.
  • Reports and support requests: up to 180 days for safety and dispute handling.
  • Account data: until the account is deleted, except where limited retention is legally or operationally necessary.

7. Service providers and transfers

We use limited service providers for application hosting, database storage, push notifications, AI responses, and video playback. Data may be processed outside the user’s country. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and are expected to protect it appropriately.

8. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, limited retention, administrator authorization, and session revocation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Account Management in the app allows users to update profile information, erase family data, change a password, and permanently delete an account. Users who cannot sign in may use the external account-deletion page. Privacy questions and access, correction, or deletion requests can be submitted through Customer Support.

10. Children

InsaengON is designed for adults and is not directed to children. A minor should use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
